These pillars are different because the finished candle exhibits a unique feather "crystal" design. We use a specially blended wax for all of our pillars. This specially blended wax is called Palm Wax and it is a vegetable wax. There is no paraffin in these pillar candles. This Palm Wax is what gives it that "crystal" finish. There is enough scent added to each pillar candle to fill your room from the time you light it until you blow it out. We also offer an unscented pillar as well which you can order in any color. Just add the color you would like in the comments on the check out order form. We understand as candle makers that the scent is the most important part of the candle but we also understand that the wick is another important ingredient in the candle. This is why we choose a clean burning cotton wick that is perfect for these pillar candles. There is no lead in our wicks.
